LET'S GET PHYSICAL

This morning I had my second CT scan. Looking forward to an encouraging report (in regards to scan) this Thursday when we head up to the Block Center in IL.

Went on an invigorating bike ride w/my 16 year old earlier this evening.Wouldn't mind doubling the time on the road to an hour, at least.
Physical exercise is crucial to a person's cancer-fighting arsenal. Muscle serves as the primary reservoir for glutamine, an amino acid that powers the anti-cancer immune defenses.** It's also great for the psyche.
Cycling is my favorite form of aerobic exercise but I also get to enjoy core, free weight, floor, and ball exercises.

In a letter from one of my 19 year old daughter's friends was this Scripture from II Cor 12:9--"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." (she and her family have been praying for me)
God's Word is such an encouragement to me. I so appreciate everyone of the cards/notes (and I save ALL of them) that have been given me.
