THE DIVINE RULE OF LIFE---Oswald Chambers

What follows is a quote from Chambers' Devotions for Morning and Evening:

The Example Our Lord gives us is not that of a good man, or even of a good Christian, but of God Himself. "Be ye therefore perfect even as your Father in heaven is perfect, " show to the other man what God has shown to you; and God will give us ample opportunities in actual life to prove whether we are perfect as our Father in heaven is perfect. To be a disciple means that we deliberately identify ourselves with God's interests in other people. "That ye love one another; as I have loved you..."

12th Treatment at the Block Center

Cathy continues to receive hormone drug therapy which is a combination of Herceptin, Lupron and Arimidex.

All aspects of her blood work remain within normal limits or continues to show improvement.

Her scalp is healing nicely where they removed the skin lesion. The other "bumps" have all cleared up which we attribute to the antibiotics. It appears to have been a bacterial infection.

We also want to thank Suzanne for joining us on the trip - it was a great day.

BOY? GIRL?

A baby gender party. Whatever in the world is that?! Found out this evening--and what a fun time. This grandma really thought she'd be holding her first grandchild of the male persuasion (perhaps #2). Little Jane Catherine (I'm hoping her Mother won't mind my calling her Janie Cate, at least once in awhile). There is no mistakin' the ultra sound pictures--Jane is quite photogenic. Had she been a boy, they would have named him William Scott, after his Grandpa Scott Wunderlich.

Sons (and daughters) are a heritage from the Lord, children a reward from them. Psalm 127:3

GREAT NEWS!

The cyst removed from head---NOT cancer.

I give thanks to the Lord; making known what he has done. I sing praise to him, telling of his wonderful act. Glory to him; let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice. Looking to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always. (somewhat paraphrased--IChron.16).
